All scarves in the shop are ready to ship. Every scarf for sale in the shop is handmade, and slight variations in colour simply add character and uniqueness to your piece. Product photos have been taken with natural light, to best show the actual colours.
Your order will be processed within 1-2 business days, once payment is received.
All items ship from Stellenbosch, South Africa.
You may choose to collect your parcel yourself, have it sent counter-to-counter with the Post Office, or delivered to your door with a courier. Post Office: 5 – 10 days. Courier: 1 – 3 days. All orders include tracking information and can be traced online.
International orders ship via registered airmail and are expected to arrive within 7 – 21 days. Orders include tracking information, can be traced online and will be delivered to your nearest Post Office. If you would like your parcel couriered to you, please send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
Secure online payments are accepted through PayFast, PayPal and via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).
If you select PayFast or PayPal at checkout, you will automatically be redirected to their secure payments page. Visa and MasterCard accepted. You do not need a PayFast or PayPal account to make a transaction.
All prices are in ZAR (South African Rands).
Returns, Exchanges + Refunds
All scarves are carefully inspected before shipping and therefore no returns will be allowed, with exception to the incorrect design being despatched. In this case, Mantua Silkwear's return policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately Mantua Silkwear can’t offer you a refund or exchange.To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, Mantua Silkwear requires a receipt or proof of purchase. Once your return is received and inspected, Mantua Silkwear will send you an email to notify you that it has been received. Mantua Silkwear will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact Mantua Silkwear at email@example.com.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Mantua Silkwear only replaces items if they are wrongfully dispatched. In this case if you need to exchange it for the same item, send an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, Mantua Silkwear will send a refund to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.
To return your product, email email@example.com for address details. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over R1 800, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Mantua Silkwear does not guarantee that it will receive your return.
