This document outlines the procedures and guidelines for shipping our products both within South Africa and internationally. Our goal is to ensure that your order reaches you promptly and securely, no matter where you are located. Please read through the policy to understand our shipping options, delivery times, and other important information related to your order.

1. International Shipping:
  • We deliver worldwide using FedEx Courier services.
  • Our international shipping is offered at a flat fee of USD 50.
  • Please note that recipients are responsible for any customs or import duties charged by the receiving country. These duties are not included in the shipping fee.

2. Shipping within South Africa:
  • Mantua Silkwear offers free shipping on all orders within South Africa.
  • We deliver nationwide using The Courier Guy services.
  • Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email with a link to your tracking number.
  • Your order can be tracked via The Courier Guy website.

3. Dispatch Timelines:
  • We dispatch all orders, unless otherwise stated, within 5 working days of order receipt.
  • Delivery will take between 7 - 10 working days from the day of dispatch.
  • A tracking number and link will be sent to you via email once your order has been dispatched. You can track your order on the website using the tracking number you received.

4. Delivery arrangements:
  • Courier deliveries in South Africa are made from Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm.

5. Personal delivery:
  • Anyone at the delivery address can accept the delivery. In order for us to prove that delivery of an order has been completed, we do not have to prove that you personally received the package, but rather that any person at the delivery address signed for the delivery.
  • Note that a signature will be required for receipt of all residential deliveries. We will not be responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product after it has been delivered to the physical address nominated by you.

6. Late Deliveries:
  • Should there be unforeseen circumstances that prolong the delivery time, late delivery will not be grounds for a refund or cancellation of the order.
  • However if your order has not been delivered after the estimated times shown above, please contact us with your order number so that we can follow up on the matter.

7. Stock availability:

  • If you order a product that is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to notify you and give you the alternative options available to you.

8. Items damaged in transit / Returns:

  • If you do not receive your order in good condition or you wish to return a product, please refer to our Returns & Exchange Policy.

9. Disclaimer:

Mantua Silkwear is committed to ensuring your order is delivered promptly and securely. However, we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as customs processing times, shipping carrier delays, road accidents or unforeseen weather conditions.

Please note the following:

  • To ensure successful delivery, recipients must provide their full physical address and contact details (cell phone number). We are not liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information.
  • If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address information provided by the customer, additional shipping charges will apply to resend the package.
  • We are not responsible for any lost or stolen packages once they have been marked as delivered by the courier service.
